Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful phases of a woman’s life… but oh boy, it’s no less than a roller coaster 🎢 of emotions, cravings, fears, kicks, and joy — all bundled together in those 9 months.
When I first saw those two pink lines 👣, I froze. Like totally! And the very next second — happy tears just rolled down 🥹💖. That was the moment everything changed.
🤰The First Trimester – The Unexpected Phase
Let’s be honest — the first 3 months are not always “glowy” as shown in movies 🌟.
Instead, it’s more like:
🔹 Morning sickness (read: all-day sickness!) 🤢
🔹 Super sleepy & always tired 😴
🔹 Mood swings? Like from laughing to crying in 5 seconds 😅
I survived on:
🍋 Lemon water
🥔 Boiled potatoes
🍚 Khichdi with a dollop of ghee
…and of course, loads of sleep 💤
🍉 The Second Trimester – The Golden Period
This one’s a little magical ✨
You get your appetite back, your energy improves (finally!), and you start feeling those tiny kicks 🦶💓 — BEST. FEELING. EVER.
Also, the bump starts showing 👶 (time to click a million bump pics! 📸)
Cravings hit hard 🍫🥭🍟, but I tried balancing my diet with:
🥗 Leafy veggies
🥛 Glasses of milk
🍎 Fruits, dry fruits, and lots of water 💧
🛍️ Third Trimester – So Close Yet So Far
Okay, now you’re waddling around like a penguin 🐧
Back hurts
Sleep disappears 😩
And the wait becomes endless…
But also, it’s the nesting phase — I went into full prep mode:
🍼 Washed all baby clothes
🧴 Packed my hospital bag
🎶 Played music for the baby
🛏️ Set up the crib (and kept rearranging it daily 😅)
🧘♀️ My Go-To Pregnancy Tips
🔹 Trust your gut – always.
🔹 Say NO when your body says no 🚫
🔹 Surround yourself with positive vibes 🌈
🔹 Don’t compare your journey – every pregnancy is unique 💫
🔹 Keep walking (gently) and do your stretches
🔹 Write letters or record voice notes for your baby — you’ll cherish them one day 💌
To all the mamas-to-be out there,
You’re growing life — literally. 🌱
You’re doing amazing, even when you feel like you’re not.
So breathe, smile, and know… this chaos is so worth it 💕
Love & strength,
💗
