Letβs face it β the word βsaladβ doesnβt usually make kids jump with joy. π
But what if salads were colorful, crunchy, creamy… and didnβt look or taste like boring veggies?
These 3 quick salad recipes are perfect for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or even light dinners β approved by moms AND little food critics! π©βπ§βπ¦β¨
π§ 1. Cheesy Corn & Pasta Salad
Creamy, colorful, and full of mild flavors your kid will love!
π Ingredients:
- Β½ cup boiled pasta (macaroni or fusilli) π
- ΒΌ cup sweet corn (boiled) π½
- 2 tbsp grated cheese
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise or thick curd
- A pinch of salt & pepper

- Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
- Chill for 10 minutes and serve cold with a sprinkle of oregano (optional).
- Pack in a tiffin or serve in a fun bowl!

π 2. Apple-Cucumber Crunch Salad
A sweet + refreshing twist on salad with a natural crunch.
π Ingredients:
- 1 small apple (chopped, skin on) π
- 1 small cucumber (peeled and chopped) π₯
- A dash of lemon juice π
- 1 tsp honey
- A pinch of black salt or chaat masala

- Combine fruits in a bowl.
- Drizzle with lemon juice, honey, and sprinkle salt.
- Mix gently and serve fresh.

- 1 small boiled potato (diced) π₯

- 2 tbsp thick curd/yogurt
- A pinch of jeera powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander (optional)
